Lottmann – Calculation of the PCF using ECODESIGN+ as a basis for decision-making for Helopal window sills development

Based on life cycle data (material composition, manufacturing processes and transport information), we modelled a window sill using ECODESIGN+ software and carried out the calculation of the PCF.

The model created was also shared with the company for further internal product development.

The PCF results were then analyzed together and different product variants (including optimization ideas) modelled and compared. This provided Lottmann GmbH a clear, data-based basis for decision-making on strategic decarbonisation measures for its own products.
