The event focused on the real-world challenges of producing green methanol from biomass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Key insights included the importance of <strong>feedstock reliability<\/strong> over variety, as consistent sources like wood chips are preferred for industrial use. <strong>Feedstock quality<\/strong> was found to impact uptime and costs more significantly than price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants also discussed broader issues such as <strong>policy uncertainty<\/strong>, <strong>carbon pricing<\/strong>, and the need for <strong>standardization and scaling<\/strong> to reduce costs and support industrial deployment.
