The project&#8217;s goal is to present a pilot plant that is ready for scaling up within the European biomass industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The role of ECODESIGN company GmbH in this project is to ensure that the pilot plant, its components, and the process are designed to align with the principles of the circular economy. Furthermore, the company will conduct a life cycle assessment (LCA) not only for the pilot plant but also for the scaled-up process to evaluate its potential future environmental sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The kick-off meeting took place from November 14 to 15, 2024, in Milan.
